A short first drive to Burnaby Cariboo RV Park, one of the best-rated in British Columbia and a great base to explore Vancouver, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
A long but rewarding drive on the Trans-Canada Highway to the Okanagan Valley, land of vineyards (Penticton, Okanagan Falls, Kelowna). Two nights at Okanagan Lake Provincial Park, just north of Penticton, with lakeside beaches. On the way, see the Othello Tunnels near Hope or ride Hell’s Gate Airtram over the Fraser River.
A shorter drive, with time for more wineries, to Revelstoke, high in the Monashee Mountains between Mount Revelstoke and Glacier national parks. Stop at Salmon Arm, on Shuswap Lake. Suggested overnight: Revelstoke KOA.
About three hours to Lake Louise, in Banff National Park. Two nights at the Lake Louise campground. See the Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park, take the scenic Bow Valley Parkway to Banff, ride the Sulphur Mountain gondola and relax in Banff Hot Springs.
A spectacular road framed by 3,600 m peaks. Visit the Athabasca Glacier (Ice Explorer or guided ice walk) and, in Jasper, the Maligne Lake Cruise to Spirit Island. Two nights in Jasper National Park (Parks Canada campgrounds) or at the Hinton KOA.
Drive between Wells Gray Provincial Park and the Columbia Mountains to Clearwater. Stop at Blue River for a river safari with a good chance to see bears. Suggested overnight: Helmcken Falls Lodge & RV Park (few spots, book early).
About four and a half hours back to Vancouver. Two nights at Burnaby Cariboo RV Park, with a bus to the city every 30 minutes or the SkyTrain nearby. Visit Stanley Park, Granville Island, the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain.
Return the motorhome to Cruise Canada Vancouver between 9:00 and 11:00 AM.
Basic Package: motorhome of the chosen model for the whole itinerary (12 days / 11 nights), 100 km, preparation fee and environmental fee.
Complete Package: 2,000 km, vehicle kit (kitchen utensils and cleaning items), Zero Damage Plan, preparation fee and environmental fee.
Statutory liability insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance included. Price is per motorhome for the whole itinerary, shared among the passengers.
